London partner Jeff Sullivan KC is Co-Chair of Debevoise's International Dispute Resolution Group and of the firm's European Disputes Group. Mr. Sullivan's practice focusses on international arbitration and public international law.

Mr. Sullivan is one of the market's leading and most respected advocates, representing clients in commercial and investor-state arbitrations before all the major arbitral institutions. He also regularly sits as an arbitrator, and advises clients in all aspects of public international law.

Mr. Sullivan has advised clients from a range of sectors and regions, but has a particularly deep practice focussed on disputes in the energy, extractive industries and infrastructure sectors.

His experience includes disputes involving long-term supply agreements, concession agreements, production sharing and operating agreements, joint venture agreements, EPC and other construction agreements.

Recent experience includes a $4 billion ICC arbitration centred on a Middle Eastern infrastructure project; an UNCITRAL arbitration concerning a $750 million transport project dispute; acting for 25 investors in renewable energy projects in 10 separate ICSID and UNCITRAL arbitration claims against the Kingdom of Spain under the Energy Charter Treaty involving claims in excess of $2.5 billion; and two parallel LCIA arbitrations with the amount in dispute in excess of $2.2 billion.

Dr Anna Plevri is an Assistant Professor of Faculty of Law, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. Prior to this position, she was an Assistant Professor of Civil Procedure and ADR at the University of Nicosia (2014 -2024), Director of the Procedural Law Unit of the same University.

She has been recently ranked at the list of Lexology Arbitration Future Leaders 2026 (Greece) and previously at WWL & Global Arbitration Review Future Leaders 2024 (Greece).

She is the Deputy Chair of the Mediation Board of EODID (Athens Mediation & Arbitration & Organization).

She has been trained in various law and ADR trainings abroad, such as in Italy, in Germany, in the United Kingdom, in Switzerland, in the USA and in Dubai.

Reza is a partner of Three Crowns in the London office. In his more than 25 years of practice, he has represented clients as counsel and advocate in arbitrations conducted under a variety of arbitral rules in many different jurisdictions. He also appears as an advocate before domestic and international courts in arbitration-related matters.

Reza has previously practiced in Paris, New York and Dubai, where he established the Middle East dispute resolution practice of a leading international law firm. He has particular expertise in disputes arising in emerging markets, including in investor-state arbitrations.

George is an international dispute resolution specialist who resolves high-value and complex multijurisdictional disputes. He is a Solicitor Advocate who spends most of his time involved in arbitration. Throughout his career, George has advised and acted for (and against) governments, commercial entities, and individuals from a wide range of countries.

George is regularly engaged in international arbitrations as counsel, chair, co-arbitrator, and sole arbitrator under the ICC, LCIA, LMAA, VIAC, ISTAC, GAFTA, SCC, and ICSID rules, sitting in London, Athens, Geneva, Stockholm, Istanbul, and Washington DC. George has a very strong maritime background, having been a partner for many years in a leading London-based shipping law firm. He has been involved in over 100 maritime arbitrations.

Komninos Komnios is an associate Professor of Energy Law at the International Hellenic University (IHU), a Board Member of the Hellenic Regulatory Authority for Energy, Waste and Water (RAAEY), and the Hellenic Energy Ombudsman. He holds a Ph.D. (Doctor Iuris) from Saarland University and a post-doctoral thesis on evidence in national and international commercial arbitration. Dr. Komnios has extensive knowledge in energy law, regulatory frameworks, alternative dispute resolution, and IT law. He has received advanced training in Mediation, Dispute Resolution, and Law from Tulane University School of Law and the Institut für Anwaltsrecht an der Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin. Dr. Komnios is a skilled attorney-at-law with extensive experience in energy law, legal advising, and dispute resolution, and he has served as a legal advisor for various organisations, including the Federation of Industries of Greece, the Thessaloniki International Fair S.A. and the Thessaloniki Chamber of Commerce & Industry.

Dr. Dimitrios Kyriazis (DPhil, Oxford) is an Assistant Professor of European Union Law at the Law School of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and a Research Fellow in Law at Northeastern University London, where from 2017 to 2020 he served as Head of the Law Faculty. He has held the post of Lecturer in Law at Oxford University and Teaching Fellow in Law at UCL. He is the Managing Partner of Kyriazis & Fix Legal Services in Athens, an External Expert Legal Counsel at the Public Power Corporation (ΔΕΗ) and a Member of the EU's AI Board Subgroup on the interaction of the AI Act with the GDPR.

Polly Efstratiadi is an associate in the International Arbitration Group of White & Case in Paris. Her practice covers international commercial and investment arbitration, and prior to joining White & Case she gained experience in international arbitration and litigation, as well as English commercial and civil law, at barristers' chambers, international law firms in London and Athens, and in an in-house role in London.

Polly's practice spans commercial and investor-State arbitrations under the ICC, LCIA, SCC, UNCITRAL and ICSID rules, including construction, concession and infrastructure disputes. Polly has experience in energy-related disputes, including advising and representing energy companies and state entities in disputes concerning oil production sharing contracts, the protection of energy investments under BITs, the construction of power generation infrastructure and pipelines, and political risk insurance in the energy sector.

Polly holds a BA Jurisprudence/LLB from the University of Oxford and an LLM in International Law from University College London. She qualified as a barrister in 2021 (Called to the Bar in England & Wales) after completing the Bar Professional Training Course as a Bedingfield Scholar of Gray's Inn. She speaks Greek, English, and French.

Craig co-leads Herbert Smith Freehills Kramer's global energy sector practice and also heads our international arbitration group in London.

Craig has extensive experience in litigation, expert determination and mediation with a particular focus on disputes in the energy, leisure, construction, engineering, defence and telecommunications industries. His practice comprises multi-jurisdictional work subject to a wide range of governing laws.

Craig has acted in arbitrations as counsel, advocate and arbitrator in ad hoc proceedings and before all of the major arbitral institutions, including, in particular the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC), London Court of International Arbitration (LCIA) and the American Arbitration Association (AAA). He has also acted in complex litigation cases before the English High Court (including the Queen's Bench, the Commercial Court, and the Technology and Construction Court) and the Court of Appeal.

His broader contribution to the arbitral community includes appointments to the ICC UK National Committee for Arbitration, to the ICC Commission upon the nomination of the ICC UK National Committee, as elected Chair to the Advisory Committee of the Cairo Regional Centre for International Commercial Arbitration (CRCICA), and Deputy Chairman at the Advisory Committee to the Oman Arbitration Centre (OAC). He lectures at the University of London on energy law and arbitration, and is regularly published on arbitration, energy disputes and private international law.

Fluent in Arabic and French, Craig is frequently instructed in disputes arising from investments, projects and transactions in Africa and the Middle East.

Dimitrios represents companies, State-owned entities and governments in international commercial and investment treaty arbitrations, as well as in pre- and post-arbitration negotiations, strategy, and claims management.

Dimitrios represents clients in the power, oil & gas, energy, construction and mining industries, as well as in disputes relating to mergers & acquisitions. He has worked in arbitrations under major arbitration rules such as ICC, ICSID, LCIA, LMAA, SIAC, UNCITRAL, and CRCICA as well as on arbitration-related litigation before the English, French, Swiss, Dutch, Indonesian and Pakistan courts. Her expertise spans disputes in the energy, construction, financial, and defense sectors, including concession agreements.

Lito Dokopoulou is a Senior Associate at Calavros Law Firm-Filios-Kloukinas since 2025.

Ms Dokopoulou acts as counsel in international commercial arbitration proceedings (mainly governed by ICC, LCIA, UNCITRAL and domestic rules), and represents clients before civil courts, with a special focus on cross-border litigation covering the whole range of civil, commercial and corporate disputes and private international law matters. She has further provided pre-litigation / arbitral strategic advice to clients and is experienced in developing dispute avoidance strategies. Lito has also specialized in sports arbitration (under CAS) and anti- doping matters (under WADA Code).

She has previously practiced at leading law firms of Athens and in the arbitration practices of top-tier international firms of Paris.

Ms Dokopoulou serves as Vice President of the ICC Hellas Arbitration Committee. She is included in the closed list of arbitrators maintained by the European Commission for state-to-state dispute settlement in bilateral trade disputes, as well as on the roster of the Athens Mediation & Arbitration Organization (EODID). She recently served as a researcher at the Hague Academy of International Law, with a research focus on the applicable law in international arbitration.

Panayiotis Yiannopoulos is Professor of Civil Procedure and Arbitration Law at the Faculty of Law of Democritus University of Thrace and Managing Partner of Yiannopoulos & Kozi LLP. He has been qualified to appear before the Greek Supreme Court since 2007. He serves as Vice-Chair and a member of the Board of the Thessaloniki Bar Association and has chaired its Arbitration Committee since 2018.

His practice focuses on complex commercial litigation and arbitration, particularly disputes involving distribution and agency agreements, construction contracts, defence procurement, mergers and acquisitions, mineral law, corporate fraud and shareholder litigation. He also regularly represents clients in cassation proceedings.

He has taught civil procedure and arbitration at undergraduate and postgraduate levels at Democritus University of Thrace since 2007. He has also taught private international law, medical law, labour law and the European Convention on Human Rights at other Greek universities and at the National School of Judges.

He serves on the editorial boards of the legal journals Review of Civil Procedure (since 2008), Arbitration (since 2018) and Chronicles of Private Law (since 2001). He has published twelve books on civil procedure, international litigation and arbitration, as well as numerous articles, essays and case notes. Nadine Debbas Achkar is a Chartered Arbitrator specializing in international arbitration. Currently, she serves primarily as arbitrator and has been appointed as Presiding Arbitrator, Sole Arbitrator or Co-Arbitrator in numerous arbitrations arising from a wide range of disputes (both institutional arbitrations as well as ad hoc proceedings under the UNCITRAL Arbitration Rules).

Nadine is a Member of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) International Court of Arbitration (2024-2027), a Co-Chair of the ICC Advanced Arbitration Academy - Middle East, and a Member of the ICC Commission on Arbitration & ADR and of the Working Group on Expedited Procedures. She is also a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (CIArb).

In addition, in January 2022, Nadine was appointed by Royal Decree as a Judge on the Supreme Court of the Kingdom of Bahrain.

From 2008 until 2011, Nadine served as the General Counsel and Senior Vice President of Abu Dhabi Basic Industries Corporation PJSC, an industrial investment holding company mandated by the Abu Dhabi Government to be a key contributor to Abu Dhabi's Economic Vision 2030.

Nadine holds a Juris Doctor from Columbia University School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Georgetown University. She is a member of the New York Bar and is a native speaker of Arabic, English, and French and is fluent in Spanish.

Raëd Fathallah, Partner, Bredin Prat, is a member of the firm's International Arbitration team.

He acts as counsel in large-scale investment and commercial arbitrations, in which he represents corporations, sovereign States and State entities. Over the past 25 years, he has acted as counsel or as arbitrator, in more than 200 proceedings, both ad hoc or under the major Rules (including ICC, ICSID, LCIA, SIAC, HKIAC, UNCITRAL, DIAC, BCDR, CRCICA and OHADA).

Raëd has particular expertise in arbitrations involving sovereign States and State-owned entities and has acted in dozens of investor-State disputes (including ICSID) both as lead counsel and arbitrator.

He is also acclaimed as one of the most sought-after arbitrators, having served in over 80 arbitrations, mostly as President or Sole Arbitrator, under major institutional rules (ICC, LCIA, HKIAC, ICSID, and UNCITRAL).

Spyridon K. Tsantinis, Professor of Civil Procedural law in Democritus University of Thrace Law School (PhD J.W. Goethe University, Frankfurt a.M.; Magister Legum Europae Hanover University; JD Athens University).

Attorney-at-law (since 1991; since 1999 before the Supreme Court). He specializes in commercial and civil litigation and arbitration. His court practice includes disputes deriving from commercial esp. banking contracts, competition violations, insolvency and bankruptcy, enforcement proceedings. Cassation law expert, he has frequent presence before Areios Pagos (the Hellenic Supreme Court).

He has acted as legal counsel of well-known foreign and domestic businesses. Since 1996 he is part of the Legal Services Division of the "National Bank of Greece", Greece's oldest and largest bank, where he has served as Head of the Division for Litigation of Special Interest (2015-2018); currently he holds the position of Head of the Division for Internal Evaluation.

Gregory is Senior Partner at Ballas Pelecanos Law. He heads our firm's Competition & Distribution, Banking & Finance / Capital Markets and Energy practice groups, and co-heads our Corporate & Commercial, Technology, Media & Telecommunications, Consumer Rights & Product Liability, Public and Defence Procurements and Dispute Resolution practice groups, and participates in our firm's Data Privacy practice group. A member of the Athens Lawyers' Association since 1982, he is admitted to argue before the Supreme Court and Council of State. He speaks and writes fluent Greek and English.

He studied law at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (1978-1982) and holds an LL.M. (Class of 1983) from University College London, in Intellectual Property (joint course with LSE), Competition Law, Company Law (joint course with LSE) and International Economic Law. He has also attended the long term seminar on Greek Tax Law Course at the Hellenic Center of Productivity (1989) and King's College London's "Economics of Competition Law" distance learning course (2008).

Before entering into private practice, Gregory worked as in-house counsel for Mobil Oil Hellas S.A., (1984-1991) and has served as General Legal Counsel of Toyota Hellas S.A., (1991-1993).

Gregory is an active member of many professional organizations, including the EU Automotive Law Group and the International Chamber of Commerce (Greek Chapter, Arbitration Section). He is also the Chairman of the Legal Affairs Committee of the Hellenic – German Chamber of Commerce (2018 to-date).

In addition to advising clients, he regularly litigates before courts and has extensive international and Greek arbitration experience. Notable related litigation he has been involved in includes: securing the largest ever single fine against a dominant company for abusive practices by the HCC and reversing on grounds of agency at the Court of Appeals and the Council of State an HCC decision on vertical price fixing. His arbitration experience is also extensive, under ICC, LCIA, Greek International Arbitration and domestic rules, involving multimillion awards in state procurements, such as the celebrated Athens 2004 C4I dispute, and successfully defending a client, in two separate cases, against multimillion-dollar allegations of bribery and damages arising from a RES construction project.

He has authored articles, edited and contributed to legal books and written the country chapters for a variety of publications on many IP, computer law, agency and distribution, Greek and European Union competition law, bankruptcy law, arbitration law and investment law matters, and also regularly lectures and presents topics at conferences on competition, arbitration and IP issues in Greece and abroad.
